As an eyewear manufacturer, there are 7 types of eyewear frames that are most commonly used on a daily basis in our premises. Do you know which ones are there? Let me take you to understand the characteristics of this eyeglass frame!
1, Full frame glasses frame
It is the most commonly used type of frame, characterized by being sturdy, easy to shape, and able to cover up a portion of the lens thickness. It is the most commonly used type in our daily lives.
2, Half frame mirror frame
The half frame is made of a very thin nylon thread as part of the frame edge, and the lens is specially ground to flatten its lower edge. There is a narrow groove in the lower edge, which allows the nylon thread to be embedded in the groove, forming a bottomless frame style. The characteristic is light weight, giving people a sense of lightness and uniqueness, and it is also relatively firm.
3, Frameless frame
This type of frame does not have a mirror ring, only a metal nose bridge and metal mirror legs. The lens is directly connected to the nose bridge and mirror legs by screws, and generally requires drilling holes on the lens. Frameless frames are lighter and more unique than regular frames, but with slightly lower strength but a wider field of view.
4, Nylon wire frame
A very thin nylon thread is used as a partial frame edge, and the lens is specially ground to flatten its lower edge. There is a narrow groove in the lower edge, which allows the nylon thread to be embedded in the groove, forming a bottomless frame style. Therefore, the weight is very light, giving people a sense of lightness and uniqueness, and it is also relatively firm.
5, Combination frame
There are two sets of lenses at the front frame, one of which can be flipped up and is usually used both indoors and outdoors.
6, Folding frame
The frame can be folded into four or six folds, mostly for reading glasses.
7, Eyebrow frame
The eyebrow frame is similar to a half frame mirror frame, with only one eyebrow like circular thread on the upper half frame. A very thin nylon thread is used as the lower frame edge, making the style more fashionable.
